Widget Suggestions Requested

User: Mike O. 7 years ago
I have a website created in iWeb that I'm wanting to redo in EverWeb. There are buttons that open images of scanned letters in popup windows and media player buttons that play .mp3 recordings of the letters which now don't work any more.
This is the site: http://www.benkaplow.com/Main/19430629.html. This is a typical page and you'll notice that it now just says the player is missing.

Can you make recommendations as to what widgets will give me the same functionality without having to muck about in the code to make it all work?

TIA!

Mike

You can do this without using a widget as shown in THIS video.

For the number of links you require, it may be more efficient to use a widget like the iFrame Modal which opens the content page in a modal window from a text or captioned image link.

These methods will obviate the need to have a back button link.

The problem with using a text link is that they are not very mobile friendly when your full site is viewed on a tablet device such as an iPad. The Touch Modal iFrame widget would be more suitable since it uses a CTA (Call To Action Tab) instead of a text link.

If you want the modal's content to be responsive, use the Responsive Content iFrame Modal. Use the Full Width Text or Full Width Text Wrap widget to create the content.
