Viewing Mysterious buggy hyperlinks

Mysterious buggy hyperlinks

User: John B. 9 years ago
I have a simple document with a list of items that look like this:

Description: Link

where Description is normal text and Link is set up as a hyperlink.

When I publish it there are extra links that were not visible in Everweb, on some of the descriptions. Since they're not visible in the editor, there's no way to get rid of them. If I delete the text that has the oddball link, it pops up in some adjacent text when I publish. Again, these errors are only visible in the published HTML, not in Everweb itself.

The attachments show the view in Everweb, and the published version with the extra link wrapped around random text.

What's going on here?

Edit: I can't see my attachments, I don't know if you can. When I re-edit this post, they're there, not sure why they're not visible.

I suspect that you may have applied a link to the entire object instead of just the text.

Select the object but do not double click it as to edit the text. Then go to Inspector->Hyperlink settings and see if there is a link applied to the entire object. If so, disable that link.
