Even with the built in alignment tools the fact that Everweb gives us the ability to drag and drop whatever wherever we want can give us problems with some elements that we have had to create in the design space. The only way to align them is to go to shapes and make a horz. or vert. line/straight edge to use for an alignment tool. (we shouldn't have to resort to this..) Because we have the ability to do whatever we want when designing our site we need the tools to make everything look good! The auto alignment tool built into EW is pretty good for like sizes and shapes, but when you deviate they become useless.. Also the Horz./Vert. distribution tool can have the same problems, again especially with elements custom constructed. Myself and others have brought this up before, but nothing ever seems to get done about it.. Paul, if you need more details please feel free to contact me directly. Hi Steve, Thanks for the feedback, I definitely agree and it something we would like to add. Of course there are a lot of things to add so we have to wait until we can focus on that feature :-) Sorry for the inconveniences but we are aware that it would be a very useful and we would like to add it to EverWeb. Hi Steve, I requested a integrated ruler in everweb for the exact same reason you have 2 years ago and got the exact same answer from Paul. I don't think we are going to get the ruler Steve, Paul is to busy working on blogger requests. Personally I think he's missing the boat completely but hey who am I to judge. |
