Text format box stuck up into menu at top.

User: Ben L. 9 years ago
When I open the text format box (Command T) it is now for some reason stuck up at the top of the monitor, behind the menu ... I can't pull it down because those boxes can only be controlled/moved by the top of the frame, which in this case has disappeared behind and beyond the menu. Rebooting the app doesn't change the position of the text box.

Okay. And I notice that the 'add attachments' isn't working. This is the third or fourth time I've tried to add an attachment, in other posts. Is this function working for other people? I've got the latest version of EverWeb. 1.9.6, build 1532.

Try selecting Zoom from the Window menu. See this and other useful tips HERE.

Hi Roddy,

Nada. It just zooms the main window. I wish there was a preferences file for EverWeb that I could trash, or some place to reset things to a default mode. But that text format box is seemingly embedded up there, no matter which project I'm working on. I'm going to look at some of your other 'useful tips' ... I remember you've solved a lot of my problems back in iWeb. Will report back... Ben

Nope. Nothing is working. Maybe I just need to re-install EverWeb. Can't think of anything else. I wonder when re-installing the beast ... if it the new version will automatically see the old projects (which I will carefully duplicate and hide before re-installation).

Did you try quitting and relaunching EverWeb?

Your projects are in the EverWeb folder in Application Support so are not effected by installing another version of EverWeb.

Use the advanced button if you want to attach stuff to a post.
