"Before installing the Full Width Slick Header widget, open the Page inspector and adjust the Page Layout. Set the top margin and header heights to zero and set the content width to anywhere between 768 and 800px." My full site pages are 11oo-px wide, and my tablet pages are 880-px wide, and my mobile pages are 480-px wide. What happens is my advertising on the full version and the tablet version gets crowded, where as normally it is fine. what would happen if I increased to 880-px on both full and tablet pages, I have different size and type ads on mobile site so it does not matter. www.nolamusicguides.com |

In portrait mode, an iPad screen is 768px wide. If you have a page content width of 880px, all the objects on the page will be squeezed down in size to fit the iPad screen - including the text. This may cause visitors to struggle to read text without magnifying. Try creating a test page with your desired width and test it on a tablet device or in the iOS simulator to see if it is acceptable. You can offset this degradation of visibility by increasing the font size by a pixel or too but you don't want it too large for visitors using computers. Web design is like life itself - a compromise. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
