Viewing Transparent info widget

Transparent info widget

User: Christian Z. 8 years ago
Is there a touch widget to create an info button that opens a transparent text field, for exemple for showing a c.v. over an image?

There isn't a widget but it probably wouldn't be too difficult to create one.

There are quite a few different ways that this could be done and you would need to be more specific about what exactly you want.

Here's a demo of one way of doing it with jQuery and a CSS transition.

Wow, thanks Roddy! Thats just the thing I had in my mind! In the meantime I solved the problem with an image widget with popup window.
As I am an absolut web designing amateur I will grab your codes and try if I am able to build something that I am happy with. One (bad) question: do I have to put theses codes in a html snippet? And where do I have to put my image in (from the assets list)??

Drag the image into the Assets List and then right click it to get the relative path to paste into the HTML.

Paste the HTML into an HTML Snippet widget and the CSS into the Head Code box in the Page inspector. The JS can go into the Footer Code box - or the head code or the snippet!

I can make a widget for it but I wasn't sure if this was a exactly what you wanted. If it is, email me if you know it or use the contact form.
