Due to the feature I need for PayPal that you included in the 1.9.5b, Build 1481 version of EverWeb I've been using it. When will the final release of 1.9.5 be ready? The Beta version keeps asking me to sign into my account. When I try I just get the spinning line going around in a circle. When that happens I've exited EverWeb, re-opened it and tried again. That seems to work about 95% of the time. I'm also noticing that it's taking longer in 1.9.5b to publish my website than it did in 1.9.8. I'm noticing that the Master Pages are taking especially long to publish to the Internet. Sometimes the program gets stuck on something as it's uploading and doesn't even publish at all. When that happens I have to retry publishing. |

Hi Don, Version 1.9.5 is a final candidate version so you should be able to download the latest version from the Announcements forum and us that one. If you are having specific issues like that I recommend you contact support and send in your project files so they can take a look at it and diagnose your issues. It is is likely that the increase publishing times are due to new objects you have added to your site since upgrading to 1.9.5. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

"Version 1.9.5 is a final candidate version so you should be able to download the latest version from the Announcements forum and use that one." Paul, When I was having problems last week I did download the latest version from the link on the Announcements page. It says, "This version of EverWeb is beta software. This means it has not been fully tested. Please backup your website data before using this version." when start using it." The software states that it is Version 1.9.5b Build 1481. If this is a "final candidate" version why am I still getting the warning and it still has the "b"? Perhaps I'm not understanding something here. As I've said before sending in my project files only causes me to lose megabytes my small data allowance from my IP. It has solved nothing. Yes, I know I shouldn't have such limits but those of us who live out where there are very few choices for Internet connections get stuck with these limitations. Hopefully that will change sometime this summer. They finally ran cable down our street but I'm still in a 2 year contract and the cable is along the street which is about 200 yards down a hill from my home. Please don't misunderstand my complaints. I'm enjoying using EverWeb and most of the time it meets my needs. Your support team has been great and have gone out of their way to help. I just get frustrated when things don't do what they are supposed to do. |

Quote: When I was having problems last week I did download the latest version from the link on the Announcements page. This version is updated all the time, as it is in active development. We just posted a newer Final Candidate version today and one a few days ago as well. It changes quickly so the version you have downloaded is already out of date. Quote: As I've said before sending in my project files only causes me to lose megabytes my small data allowance from my IP. I understand but unfortunately there isn't much I can suggest without seeing your project file. I understand it is frustrating but I am not sure what else I can suggest. I apologize for this. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
