Require mobile/iPad version of my first site

User: Keith R. 8 years ago
Hi All,
I have just created my first site - www.pageflipping.co.uk - and its fine but all over the place when viewed on an iPad - what do I have to do to make it viewable on an iPad - thanks in advance.

No access to an ipad at the moment. When I look at your site, it looks like 1000px wide. As a simple thing to try, make the page about 760-800px wide. Most tablets are about 800px max.
Also, check out this page to see how to test EW site in ipad/iphone configuration before publishing.

It's best to make a version of your site specifically for tablets since it's not just a question of changing the content width but also changing the user inputs such as text links to tabs and so on.

Find out how to create a TriSite and see the widgets which make doing this go a lot faster.

A tablet site should also have a different style of navigation. There are quite a few widgets for this and some allow you to create a two level menu.
