Publish to FTP Server

I noticed the problem after updating to version 1.9.5b build 1473. When I publish to my server, EverWeb creates a file for a site—www.example.com—named "example". The ".com" portion of the file is left off. Previous versions of EverWeb created a file "example.com"—which is also a requirement for my service. It only appears to affect sites created under this update. Previously created sites are unaffected. In the meantime, I have to upload the entire site, delete the old one, and add ".com" to the folder name for any updates. L C |

EverWeb never created any separate folders for you when publishing. Can you check what you have in the sub directory field in your ftp publishing settings screen. Make sure that field has the proper folder name that you want your site published to. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

--Paul Thanks for responding. I have alway published FTP to server using EverWeb as follows: Directory/Path: /public_html/Example.com/ Website URL: http://www.example.com Subdirectory: I have never created a folder or done anything to the server. In the past, all I did was set my FTP Server Details and publish. Things worked fine. Please advise. Thanks. LC |
