PLEASE add the ability to adjust letter spacing under the Text tab in the inspector. Even iWeb had this functionality. Please, please, please! LC |

Letter spacing is one of these functions which should only be used sparingly in the appropriate situation. Using it in general headings and text will only cause problems for the considerable;y large proportion of surfers who suffer from readability issues. A letter spacing control is included in some of the more elaborate Text widgets and in some of the HTML heading widgets. However, I would advise anybody who has received formal web design training to take a look at the Readability page before actually using this feature. Using different fonts, styles and colors on a web page are the hallmark of poor design. This is certainly a highly requested feature and the reason we have neglected to include it was because it was actually very difficult to implement. However, we plan to release it in version 2.0 if our development plan stays on track. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
