I've noticed that in Safari 9, when I switch between tabs while playing an EW slider show, the show stops and will not play when I come back to the tab. The only way to get it going again is to reload the page. Now, I realize that most people won't be switching tabs during one of my captivating shows, but it is odd. I would imagine its part of Apple's drive to include power saving features to help extend battery life. I avoid using auto banner/sliders simply because they are a distraction if you want visitors to read the page text content. Some people seem to like dynamic web pages but I avoid them if I'm actually looking for information. | I found that this is not true. It does not happen to other image sliders when using Safari 9+. I check out several websites and they all work when you tab away and go back. This is a problem with the everweb slider in 1.9.5 | |
