Hello, Problem with some navigator with the slide show. I used the widget "Image Slider". It work well with my navigator (safari, opera or google chrome) but apparently some people told me, the Images, from the slide show, comes everywhere along the page. For exemple: link I probably did something wrong. Thank you for your help Xavier |

If you are going to use the "Full Width" feature you would be better to use a responsive slideshow or banner.

@Xavier: Very cool adventures! That may happen if they don't have Javascript enabled. Are you sure it is still happening for people? Perhaps it happened when the website was not fully published? @Roddy: The built in Image Gallery is responsive. What is the benefits of your gallery over the built in one so I can investigate? ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Thank you Paul, I just tried with my "old" Iphone. If java script is not active, the slide doesn't work, but the web site is fully publish. Cheers |

The main difference is that they all have a maximum width setting to stop them getting too big on large screens with a wide browser setting. The image files would need to be huge to maintain quality on say an iMac 27 Retina with the browser set wide. I don't think a lot users realise this. The responsive widgets for media such as sliders and video are enclosed and centered in a container which has a max width setting. The problem with full width responsive stuff is the empty space they require below to stop them covering other content at wide browser widths. You can see what happens with this responsive banner when browser width is varied. A fixed height carousel is a better option for most users unless they go for the fully responsive design provided by the Flex Widgets. The slider widgets are created to be more specific to requirements rather than try to do almost everything like the Galleria slider does. I have created more than 40 slider/banner/carousel widgets and continually get asked for more. A lot of EverWeb users seem to know exactly what they want and won't settle for less! ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
