| After a wonderful day yesterday I opened project file and see pages missing, lots of pages missing, the only thing I did was take all pages and put them in directory folder and published . The next time I opened project file half the pages generated yesterday and available upon opening file this morning are gone! I checked thru c-panel and they are on server! Help. | |

What you see on the server has nothing to do with what you see in EverWeb. On the server are your published files, in EverWeb are you project files. Can you please indicate the version of EverWeb that you are using? I think I may have identified this bug and I am working on a fix. In the meantime, do not worry, your pages aren't lost, we can recover them. Please first tell me which version of EverWeb you are using first though. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

I am using Version 1.9.0b Build: 1425 support sent me this info: " go to the folder of website on your Hard Drive - right click on it and choose "Show Package Contents" -> open folder called "Website Pages" and in there locate all " .XML " files (which are pages). The simply drag those XML files which are missing from that Finder window to the Left hand menu (list of Pages) in the EverWeb app. They will be added there as a Pages!" this is slow but I am happy to have the solution and I swear there are pages that don't show up there either! |

Yes, I have located and fixed this bug already for the next beta. But as indicated in the beta thread, please make sure you are working on a backup of your website, or that you backup often. Sorry for these issues and thanks for letting me know. Last edit 10 years ago ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| One year later and the bugs is still there. I lost 12 hours of work because of this. Are you ever going to solve this huge problem. For 75 Euros I expect a working piece of software not what it appears to be an Alfa release. | |

Hi Alfonos, Sorry for the problems you are experiencing. I am not aware of any bugs that cause this in the latest version of EverWeb. I do see you submitted a support ticket so we will investigate and we can help you get your pages back but EverWeb does have an automatic backup feature so you should be able to get your pages back from the backups. I am really not sure what would have caused this because this bug was fixed a long time ago. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
