Quite a few EverWeb users have asked about creating a responsive website and things are moving in that direction with the release of the Responsive Widgets. Responsive website designs can get quite complicated and it is actually better in most cases to create different versions of the site for the different devices. Most EverWeb users seem to create a full site and one for smart phones. This is rather outdated thinking and, in a lot of cases, a full site is just a waste of time. The TriSite example shows how to create three versions of a basic website on the same project file using the Touch widgets. Many high street businesses only require a 4 to 12 page website and most of their hits come from visitors on the move using mobile devices.
