On my homepage, I have a couple of rectangles, set to white (#FFFFFF) with the opacity dialed down to 1%. They are linked so that when someone clicks on the graphic, they are automatically taken to the website for that graphic. I've done this specifically for the USGS Earthquake page and the CIMSS Tropical Storm page. On the attach page, I have selected one of the rectangles to show the settings in the right panel. This has worked for years now, first in iWeb, then, since January in EverWeb. Today I corrected one link on the underlying master page, republished, and the overlying "1% opacity" rectangles are white (see homepage at http://www.geoknow.net). Something has changed in EverWeb. I have moved the white 1% opacity rectangles on th homepage to show that these is, in fact, something underneath as it does not appear that way in the screenshot. I have also checked this in both Safari and Chrome - same thing on both. Last edit 10 years ago |

Sorry for the problems you are experiencing. I have confirmed this bug and fixed it for EW 1.9. In the current version, se the opacity to 5% and it will work. Again sorry for the inconvenience. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
