i would like to transfer my .uk domain name to Everweb. I bought a 10 year .uk domain name through a UK Government website called "Nominet". If i transferred this .uk name to Everweb would it still be 10 years? Are there any problems i might have? |

When you transfer your domains you always retain the years you purchased. When a domain is transferred it will actually add one year to the registration (that's why there is a fee to transfer domains, you're actually paying for a one year extension from the date of expiry). So you are never penalized for transferring a domain, you just need to renew it for one more year at the time of transfer. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
