You need to post the URL of the smart phone version of the website. Quote: the width of the site is the recommended 480px There is no recommended width. The content width of a smart phone site will depend on the type of content. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! I had the same issue when I first started with mobile too. What I found was I needed to keep moving things until there was a good space between them and then move things to get them to show correctly. I also found that there are so many browsers and they all display a little different. At the top where it says Epic Snow... over an image, I would move the line Professional Private.... to the bottom of the image, or make the font smaller for Epic Snowsports. It looks like the contact form just needs a little space around it. What was a big help for me was being able to use 2 different android devices to test with. It really showed me the subtle differences there are in how things are displayed. |

One of the problems with a drag and drop editor like EverWeb is that you can insert just about anything anywhere in any order on a web page. This usually results in a page document whose performance in the browser is poor and doesn't make a lot of sense to the search engine spiders. In general, things will be OK as long as the items are given space but, the larger the font sizes, the bigger the potential for layout problems in different browsers. The HTML5 widgets were created so that EverWeb users could create better design elements, quicker and which can be used on both the full and the smart phone sites. These create content blocks which include related items like HTML heading, image, caption and text. This makes for a more efficient, faster downloading HTML doc and a lot less individual items to move out of position when viewed on different browsers or devices. On the face of it, your page looks like good modern design with well defined content blocks but, to the browser and search engines, it's just a jumble of unrelated objects. Designing for mobile devices is completely different than for computers. Everything needs to be optimised for fast download. Even if you are not prepared to create more efficient content blocks, you should reduce those extra larger font sizes and optimise the images. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
