Viewing Resolution Problems with Mobile Website

Resolution Problems with Mobile Website

User: Thomas B. 11 years ago
... have realized a mobile website (320 width) for a client and are facing the following problem: i positioned the clients logo in the fixed header ... if you look at the website in portrait format ist fine ... but in landscape (480 width) the logos resolution is visibly bad although the original resolution for the logo is more than double the resolution necessary ... why is the software not displaying the original resolution? Thank you for some help because the clients are complaining ... tommas

Did you include an @2x version of the image?

Can you post the website URL so I can take a look?

You would need to publish the page and post the URL here to get help with this.

You should make sure you have an @2x version of your image. If your image is already twice the width/height of the size it is actually displayed at then you can simply add @2x before the name extension and make sure the page get's republished by using the 'Publish Entire Site' option from under the file menu.

So your file name should look like this;

imagename@2x.extension

Where image name is whatever image file name you have and extension would be .jpg or .png or whatever type of image you have. Basically just add @2x before the image file extension. EverWeb will take care of the rest.

Otherwise you will need to add a higher resolution logo and name it with the @2x mentioned above.
