Shadow settings problem

sometimes when I select multiple objects I can't hit the shadow button. it disables on me. if I have two images that have shadows, the shadow button is disabled. instead of being enabled. in the inspector it would look like that there are no shadows on any of the objects. there are a few other scenarios where it behaves strangely as well. if one of the selected items has a shadow, hitting the shadow button applies the same shadow to all of them. which is nice. but it only sometimes works. there's no way to set a default shadow level. or copy a shadow to another object. maybe right clicking on an object should give an option: 'copy style' and right click on another object and there's 'paste style' it would copy shadow, opacity Last edit 11 years ago |

The shadow is created using an image - not CSS - which is not good practice. If you want to set up a box shadow with default styles, use a widget. All around box shadow X Y shadow Radius image with shadow 3D effect shadow Box shadow with bottom drop shadow ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! It feels like i paid 80 dollars for an App Store that lets me pay more for all the missing parts. shouldn't this just be a feature in the app by default? |

EverWeb provides an easy means of adding shadows for beginners and one that is familiar to former iWeb users. I'm only suggesting alternatives that will give you more control over the end result and can be used on multiple images without increasing the page download time. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
