Hi guys, please help me with this issue, it's been more than a week now, every time I try to publish my website, and i keep seeing this message (see screenshot) and EverWeb just won't upload my website, please help. Thanks View Li ------------------------------- Yuanbo Li |

It looks like you have a firewall setup. Without knowing your actual settings I can't give you a definite answers, just things to try. You need to press the Allow button in the first message. For the second error, your settings are limiting the type of connections. So you can try opening your preferences in EverWeb and turning off the 'Use passive connection' option under the Publishing tab. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Hi Paul, Thank you for your prompt reply. I happen to notice that 1.8 is released and i try to download it and no more error message appears. only thing is it took ages to upload my website, but I think it's my internet connection problem. Thank you!! ------------------------------- Yuanbo Li |

I don't know why you would need to turn the firewall on. Better to control your computers ingoing/outgoing connections using LittleSnitch. Note that EverWeb 1.8 is still in beta so you shouldn't use it on a production website.
