Howdy, I am truing to start a coupon website. Local businesses pay me (hopefully) to host their coupon online. (The website is here: here! (Very much a work in progress. Click on "Mr. Pfranks to get the idea.) I want to be able to tell clients (businesses that bought coupons/ads) "x number of people viewed your coupon online last month." That's it. I have no need for anything else. I just need to give them a concrete number like that. So, how do I do that? -my web host has a variety of stats, including Awstats, which is open source. I have found no way to access that data though in a way that's easy to show clients. -I'm on Google Analytics (new to it) and the data is there, I'm sure, but I wouldn't know an automated way to get it to clients. -I've been playing with some free stat counters, thinking they could be tiny and unobtrusive on businesses' pages. The idea worked for a minute, until I found out that the counters counted the whole site. Statcounter looks promising https://statcounter.com/pricing/ Anyway, that's where I am! Any guidance would be very much appreciated. Thank you, Dan |

With or without Everweb, you may want to search for solutions. I used these words to search : show counter viewed pages on webpage with google analytics And : google analytics api to extract visited page Use your own keywords. Once you found the answer, paste the code in a HTML Snippet. |

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to create a hit counter for each page using one of the many free online services? Then you would have a counter like this... http://everwebcodebox.com/widgetbox-demo/counter.html ... and the client would just browse to the page containing their coupon to see the number of hits. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
