Hello, I want to create a box that is always the same width as the browser. For example, on spotify.com, the header is always as wide as the browser is and the same with the information boxes on the Spotify side. They last from one to the other side. Can I do that in EverWeb and if so, how? Thanks and sorry for my bad English, hope you can understand what I want to do... |

The Spotify site is a responisve one so you cannot do this with EverWeb. However, you can create the full width header with EverWeb and V1.8 beta allows you to create full width items with a new control in the Metrics inspector. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Is there a way to let the full width header stick to the top? It just scrolls like the rest of the site. |

Yes, it's possible. I have added instructions to the Responsive Full Width Header widget page to make the header stick. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Thanks, I added this to my footer box: "<div class="responsiveheader" style="position:fixed;top:0;z-index:999“></div>" instead of your code. The problem was that the "Responsive Full Width Header" wasn't on top of everything. I'm not an expert, but I tried to add "z-index:999" to the code and it worked out! Great plugin! I'm going-to use it all the time! :) |
