Hey! Working on a website... I used to have a problem with images looking bad and jagged on my retina display, then that was fixed. But now when I checked it on my normal resolution display the images look really really bad. The original file that I use look fine on that display as well... Is there something going on when resizing images in EverWeb or what is happening here? |

Have you resolved this yet? They shouldn't look that bad.

| Paul, is there a way to PM you or email? I'm not too comfortable with posting unfinished client work on forums... | |

Ok, now it even looks bad on retina display (after I made new logo). IS IT POSSIBLE TO RESIZE IMAGES IN EVERWEB WITHOUT THEM LOOKING LIKE POOP? Sorry for caps and all. But I'm getting really frustrated here. This is the first web app I've used that I can't get decent looking images from. What's going on? How does EverWeb treat pictures? Do I have to create pictures of the exact same pixel size that they are gonna appear on the website? |

| Ok, so I tried to change size of the image files to the exact size they currently are then they look fine. But this seems to imply that I CANNOT RESIZE IMAGES IN EVERWEB. Any plans on changing this? | |

| What if I want to have the same image in different sizes on my webpage? Do I have to create a different file for each size then? This would be beyond bad. Please tell me it ain't so. And please educate me how EverWeb handles images! | |

I gave an explanation about the difference between image size on the web page and resolution in this topic. If you want to use the same image file at different sizes, import the image at a resolution that is adequate for the desired quality in the largest size container. Then use the same image file and reduce the container size for smaller versions.
