| I have deleted pages in EW and those deleted pages still get published (via EW ftp). I have deleted those pages using an FTP program, published again with EW, and they reappear. | |

Use the Publish Entire Site command under the File menu. That way EverWeb will clean out your folder of all deleted resources so they aren't published anymore.

| This action does not happen Paul. After using Fetch to delete old pages from the server and then publishing entire site, the deleted pages reappear on the server. Is this happening BECAUSE I used another FTP program to delete the pages before republishing? Is EW somehow looking at the file directory wanting to check to see if pages need deleting and then freaking out because the old pages are not there? | |

It could be related to the features of your web hosting provider and their caching features. I'm not sure. I do know that EverWeb will not republish deleted pages after you use the Publish Entire Site button. If you look in the trash folder on your computer after doing a publish entire site you will see the old website files in the trash folder. That's because EverWeb moves any previous publishing data there and then republishes your site (so since the pages you deleted aren't there they can't be published). So if you don't see an older version of your website in the trash after using Publish Entire Website you can check your Console log (enter Console in Spotlight and see if there are any messages in there from EverWeb that say "Can't move site folder to trash. Error:") or you can try emptying your trash folder and republishing your entire site again. FYI: Deleting files from an FTP server have no affect on how EverWeb works.
