Problems Adding a Directory for Drop Down Menus

User: Ros I. 11 years ago
Hi,

I am having problems adding a directory for drop down menus. I have added my Home page and then wanted to add a directory after this, because I have a link named Who Are We and then wanted Map after it.

I clicked on Add Directory and the directory comes up and I select a template and the home page, but when I do, rather than the template that I have selected showing up, I just get an empty directory which then says "Add Page to New Directory". I cannot do anything with the Directory page itself and cannot add a background colour or anything - I need to be able to do this, as I need to display my first page.

Anyway know what is happening and why it is not working? What am I doing wrong? Or is there some kind of bug in EverWeb that means the Directory option is not working correctly?

I have just updated to the latest version of EverWeb - 1.7.

Help anyone?

Thanks

Hi Ros,

In the Page Settings (first tab) Inspector tab, deselect "Redirects to first child page" under Web Page Description.

The directory changes in EverWeb 1.7 are explained in a blog post. The changes were meant to help the way dropdowns are displayed and used on Android devices.
