I noticed on many site including the EW mobile site there is a link to the (desktop site) on a mobile device. Is there a way to do this easily in EW? Or do you have to have a special copy of your site on the server? This is an easy one. If you have a mobile site, just add a text box or button or something and hyperlink it to your desktop site. I did this initially. Then I removed it. Paul has posted a solution to this somewhere in this forum which avoids looping. I forget what it is and I agree with Christopher that you should never send mobile phone users to a full site!

The solution is posted in the in the original post. Enter the URL you want to go to in Inspector->Hyperlink tab->External URL like this; http://www.everwebapp.com/?fullsite=true Where http://www.everwebapp.com/ is whatever URL you want to show the desktop site for. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
