Hello Folks, Just a note for anyone going from 1.6 to 1.7.3 using a mac osx 10.8.5……………I opened my projects in 1.7.3 and on several pages and especially directories, when I tried to update links, snippets or any other info, nothing would be saved despite "Publishing site changes," eventually I tried to 1: Open a project 2: Create a new folder to save to. 3: Publish entire site to the new folder 4: Punch monitor several times…..and all the saving problems went away. It seems that saving 1.7.3 project updates into old 1.6 folders wasn't making EW very happy. I hope this may save you the hours it took me to figure out. |

There are no issues that I am aware of that would cause this to happen. It's likely your pages were cached or you were viewing the wrong page. For example you renamed a page and we're looking at the old one that was still in the published folder.

| Yes, I thought of that but it proved not to be the case as I rebuilt the page entirely. Re-saved and it was only when I published to a new folder that I made any progress. However, it was late, I was tired and I couldn't rule out user error for sure…lol . It was just a heads up in case anyone else had a similar situation. Please may I have a complete blogging solution built in to EW ? You must be sick of hearing that. | |

| This may help. I have found that if I have saved and published my site, when I view it on Firefox, often the last published version of your website is shown wheras the latest one is shown on Safari. Perhaps a cache problem? The firefox one is up to date when Firefox is refreshed or the cache is emptied. | |
