I know we've talked about this before but a forum search only gives me 25 results and I can't find the thread. Am I to understand that if we implement Google fonts in EverWeb, EverWeb will add the necessary code? A fellow EW user just informed me that my site fonts are screwing up on his end in Firefox. On my computer everything is fine. He sent me screen grabs and indeed my Open Sans Condensed font on my home page "Welcome To the World of Soloshye" has been replaced with something else. My Tangerine font has also been replaced on another page for "Art Gallery". I popped open my wife's laptop (she doesn't have these fonts installed) and discovered that at least the first of the two is not showing correctly on FF there either. Please advise what I should do. Should I just add this code to the head code boxes where I'll be using Google fonts... or is this EW's job? <link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans+Condensed:700&subset=latin,cyrillic-ext' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'> ------------------------------- rMBP 15", 2.6 Ghz, 16 GB RAM, OS X 10.11.6, with 27" Thunderbolt Cinema Display www.cleetche.com |

Waiting for an answer. If I add the tangerine font code from Google, will it just become redundant code? Or do I need to do that?

Sometimes with Google fonts the bold setting won't work in some browsers unless you explicitly include it in your site wide head code field like you have pasted above. I am looking into this issue as it seems to happen inconsistently. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
