Unable to Login when publishing

Despite six web sites being maintained using EverWeb, two of which I publish to the server using the built-in FTP, I now find that I have to log in to the EverWeb server in order to publish any of them anywhere - even to a local folder. In principle that doesn't present a problem, except that now I am unable to publish any of them - anywhere - because I am unable to login to the EverWeb server. I know that the username and password are correct, I know that the internet (even in the backwoods in the UK where I work) is fine yet the spinner just keeps a-spinning! What am I to do when I have to show a finished product to a client tomorrow yet I can't publish it? I have saved and quit the program and then tried again - no luck. I have checked the email address and password - correct. I have rebooted the Mac - no luck. Why do I have to log in when publishing sites that have previously published perfectly well (and earlier today) at all? I presume that part of the log in requirement is to ensure that I am using correctly licensed software (which is perfect in principle and a concept that I uphold) - but only if it works for me. If I lose work or the support of a client as a result of my inability to produce even a test site, the client's trust in me may well diminish if I am unable to publish to the world wide web when he wishes! All suggestions would be gratefully received. |

| Anyone home???? I understand that you probably want to control unauthorized copies and use with this login verification, but at some point this issue is going to cost more through lost customers. Love the program, multiple sites developed, now vaporware! At least sign in and let us know you are aware of the problem. | |

Very sorry for the problems. We are working on the issue now. We will have everything working again shortly. No work done within EverWeb will be lost. We are just having issues with the SSL connections to the EverWeb account. We are working on them though and creating backup servers to prevent this issue.
