When I first saw the changes to the user interface in V1.7 I really didn't like it at all. I have been building a 100+ page site and am having to use 1.7 to a certain extent since I am checking out the widget settings which have been modified to for the narrower panel. After doing this, my eyes find it a great relief to go back to V1.6 to do the main construction. The new user interface is way too bright in general and the page file names & icons lack clarity when compared to those of V1.6… ![]() ![]() This may be OK for the casual user but, for those of us who use the application for any length of time, it'd definitely a step backwards. Perhaps it looks better in Yosemite or when wearing sunglasses? ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Have you tried V1.7 with Yosemite? Will I still need to wear my shades?

| Hi Roddy, I'm running Yosemite and EverWeb does blend in properly with the new OS. Everything is lighter text on lighter background as per your image in Yosemite. It could give eye strain after a while for sure! Same goes with the thinner lines and fonts which also make things a little bit less easy on the eye. My only gripe is that I find it difficult to see which pages I have changed as the colours are more washed out so the grey and red are more difficult to distinguish... but that may just be me! | |

| Not just you. I can no longer see whether or not my wifi is on on my mac as well as other things. Not looking forward to the new EW look | |

Apart from the overall glare of EverWeb 1.7 as a whole, the worst part is the list of page file names. These really need a lot more clarity.
