If you have EverWeb + hosting you can create email addresses in the site settings which is fine. If you add a new email address with a password that the system thinks is weak it gives you a message telling you that you need a password with a strength over 50. It's a nonsense message - 50 what? Why not offer suggestions about building a stronger p/w in the error message instead of quoting a meaningless number? Thanks |

I think most of us who have used these indicators would assume that this means 50%. Here's a password strength test that you can add to your own website… http://everwebcodebox.com/widgetbox-demo/password-strength/ Most people tend to have weak passwords and use the same one for many different logins. I've never counted the number of different passwords I have - there must be hundreds. I keep them in my Wallet which makes it really easy to retrieve them with a click to copy - rather than having to do a command + c. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
