Hi, As EverWeb is very similar to iWeb, are you thinking of adding a Blog widget to your program? I used to update my blog frequently when using iWeb and i found it useful. Maybe in the next update ...! |

Yes, we are planning on adding a blog feature to EverWeb. Please note, this will not be a widget, but rather a large feature built into EverWeb. This feature is very high on our priority list. We do not have a release date at this time. |

| I'm still waiting for this as well. As a professor, I use iWeb blogging extensively to daily post my slides, notes, and handouts from classes. It takes just a few minutes to duplicate an entry from the previous day's blog, replace the text, images for the slides, add pdf handouts, link the images to pdf and html exports from Keynote, and upload everything. All the navigation and indexing that students need happens automatically. The only manual step outside of iWeb is to separately upload the Assets folder from Keynote's html export. Ever since I was involved with the EasyWeb beta evaluation, I've been checking regularly to see if this is out yet. EverWeb is clearly going to be my best option, and I'm chomping at the bit to make the switch. | |

I too have been waiting, but I believe I will wait no longer. I've always had a blog for my web site on iWeb plus Blogger. I never liked iWeb's format as much as Google Blogger, but I always did both anyway. What I have done now is a LINK from my Everweb Menu that sends you to my blogger blog in a different page. http://www.dustnlint.com/index.html *** Jeremy, You might check out the blogger format. It is so much easier to use than iWeb's old one. ------------------------------- MacBook Pro / OSX Sierra 10.12.6 www.dustnlint.com |
