Hi Paul Thanks for the 1.7 beta! Great update on the UI... Generally happy with the look. Comments and suggestions as follow... 1. EW Icon... hmmm... reminds me of Lego... 2. The Default Styles - can this be spruced up. it's a visual disaster. The colour boxes are too large for each item and what's with all those blank lines after Shape Stroke Colour? It looks unfinished... 3. The inspector is looking better but yes I think it can be slimmed down to the width of the inspector in apple products such as pages etc... Some of the drop down item lists combine two differing styles which seems odd. Also the boxes for filling in height width etc on the page inspector seem very large in comparison to what they are there for... same with the sliders... do they need to be so long? that kind of thing... I do like the concertina menus! 4. The toolbar - why not place right at the top in the title bar as with other OS X 10.10 apps? It's the perfect place for it. The buttons should be the same size as in other OS X 10.10 apps... Also you would get more real estate back, in terms of work flow there is less moving the mouse up and down the screen (as your tools are nearer menu items etc). Customisable toolbar even better... and also you can get rid of the bottom line of the EW window so more real estate back... Just some initial thoughts... |

Thanks for the suggestions. Some of them we have already considered and others we will take into consideration. We aren't yet ready to change the UI too much for old iWeb users but do want to modernize EverWeb in the near future.

| Yes, show hide would ultimately be my preference as I too find the toolbar a bit superfluous... | |
