The site I'm working on will be very time consuming for me to do the research and upgrade all the pages in the website myself. I have 2 or 3 people interested in handling 1 specific page or topic, (doing the research, updating & publishing) but neither they or I wish them to have access to the entire site and all of it's pages. If they could it may lead to some pretty disastrous results. Is there a way to do that? I thought of setting up Everweb on each persons computer (2 or 3 people) with only a single page or topic, then setting up FTP or I Click Publishing to upload the page or topic but I think that could still lead to problems 'plus' I'm not sure if it's within the agreement I have with using my Everweb account. I've always done all the work myself so this is really new to me. Any suggestions are appreciated. Dan http://www.danapointlife.org |

Assuming you could sort out the licensing thing, these pages could be uploaded to a sub folder and you could display them on the actual website using an iframe. Every time another person updated and upload a page like this, it would automatically be updated in the website without you having to do anything. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Iframe,,,, sounds like the right idea. I've got a couple of Iframes on the site but hadn't thought of using one for that purpose. On a Mac I think that just using iWeb would be the easiest. On a PC, I think that Word makes webpages. ???? Uploading shouldn't be difficult to set up for a specific folder and page as long as the link info. remains the same so the Iframe could find it. Thanks, |
