Just updated my mac to Yosemite. Everything in EW seems to work as expected however when I publish, the items on the page are in the wrong place? Scroll down past the footer, you'll see that the newly updated items are below the start of the footer... Here is the published link: http://synergyschoolradio.com/radio-studio-accessories-1/sid-studio-indicator-display-1.html |

The Safari console is showing errors. I've seen this problem before. Jotform seems to break some items using jQuery plugins. Try removing the form created with Jotform and see if it fixes it. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! I'm having some Yosemite problems too - mostly with setting font and shape colors. The font colors show OK in IE but not in Safari. Shape colors cannot be changed in EverWeb. Ran some other browsers - text colors are fine in Chrome (Win and OSX) and IE (Win7). The problem is Safai on Yosemite. I spent more than 20 years as a commercial radio DJ and good PC assist programs are hard to find. ------------------------------- MrCourtney - Honolulu, HI -------------------------------------- Mac Studio - dial monitors; iMac 27 5K - Dual Monitors - 10 TB hub Alienware: Area 51 - 24 gb - Dual Monitors - All SSD 25 TB network storage |

| Thanks Mr Courtney. The entire site is being re-styled to have a 'whiter' look and feel. If you navigate from the link I posted above you'll see all of the current/old pages. Everything should be switched over by Christmas! It's amazing how many people have a secret radio past... What software did you used to use for your playout? | |

| Thanks Roddy, I'll give this a go. Strange how it's different on this page. It's the same as all the other new ones I've been working on... | |

All the music was on servers as WAV files but we picked what we wanted to play. No automation and it sounded a lot better and the station consistently had top ratings. There's something to be said for humans controlling the music choice and flow. Even today I can pick out automated controlled playlists after 10 minutes. The songs never really seem to "fit" together. ------------------------------- MrCourtney - Honolulu, HI -------------------------------------- Mac Studio - dial monitors; iMac 27 5K - Dual Monitors - 10 TB hub Alienware: Area 51 - 24 gb - Dual Monitors - All SSD 25 TB network storage |

I've remade the page but I am still having issues. The picture is now in the correct place but the vertical nav is below the footer? http://synergyschoolradio.com/radio-studio-accessories-1/studio-indicator-display-2.html Does anyone know why this is happening? I have had a look to see if I can see any jQuery code that shouldn't be present as I know duplications of this can have issues. The strange thing is that my other pages which are identical are working? (which I made before publishing this page using Yosemite). Here's an example of the same page (which I duplicated to make the one that doesn't work). This first one does though??? http://synergyschoolradio.com/radio-studio-accessories-1/music-download-service-1.html |

Even today I can pick out automated controlled playlists after 10 minutes. The songs never really seem to "fit" together. There's certainly a difference between the two. Our company actually develop two versions of our software - one which is designed for "live assist" so your example where the DJ has free reign over what is played when and a fully automated version, where the station decide on a number of policies which intern enable the software to auto schedule audio. This is only ever as good as information you give the system. Stations should really review the content that the software picks... sadly not all do... Automation has its place just like "live assist". |
