| Would it be possible to change the scroll in the pane that displays widgets, so it actually scrolls?! I have a few widgets now and trying to find the right one is complicated by the scroll jumping three-four widgets in height each time. | |

You're right, it doesn't actually scroll but jumps from one line of icons to the other. I have over 220 widgets at the last count so I have developed my own technique for finding them! If you are using a magic mouse, drop the cursor on the actual widget icons and stroke gently to move the rows one at a time. The inspector panel could do with being wider too so that could contain four across. This would also help to overcome the limitations of the narrow code and text entry boxes. Most users don't need so much width in the design canvas area because nobody should be building web pages wider than 980px due to the increase in the number of visitors using tablets. A more sensible width is 800px as shown HERE and this leaves plenty of room to increase the Inspector panel to make it more user friendly. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! No magic mouse I'm afraid. Just a Macbook Pro laptop track-pad and the Apple bluetooth track-pad for when I'm in my office and run a larger screen. It doesn't seem to work on the laptop. I'm not a mouse fan having worked for so many years on the road with just a laptop and no fixed desk. It should just work - smooth scrolling for the widget window please! |

Try this topic in the feature requests section. Other users have commented on this in the past but nothing seems to have been done. I also have problems with scrolling in the widget inspector when the options take up more space than the application window height. The scrollbar disappears and it's irritating to have to constantly adjust the window height or do a window zoom to correct it. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
