Viewing Music Player Volume Slider not aligned in Safari

Music Player Volume Slider not aligned in Safari

User: Kevin S. 11 years ago
Hi,

I'm using the Music Player Widget in Everweb. The player looks and works fine in Firefox but in Safari I can't get the volume slider to stay to the right of the time meter. It automatically appears just below the player. I've tried expanding and contracting it but that didn't help.

Any ideas??

Thanks,
Kevin

Can you post the URL to the published page with the player on it?

Here's the link. As I said, the problem is when it's viewed with Safari. It looks fine in Firefox. I not sure about other browsers.

It looks OK to me. Try emptying the Safari cache or add a ? to the end of the URL or hitting the refresh button a few times to force the browser to load from the server rather than the cache.

I've "reset safari" and used the "empty cache" from the Development menu many times to try to solve this problem, but no luck. I just checked it on another iMac running Safari 5.1 and it looks fine. My machine is running Safari 7.1 ....... possibly an issue with the browser version. I'll check a few other computers and try to narrow it down.
Thanks for your help,
Kevin

OK - just found a clue ......... When I click the "Zoom In" button twice in my Safari tool bar the volume slider appears where is should be.

OK, I see what you mean. The player styles break when zooming in 3 steps and out one step from "normal".

There's not much you can do about this except use another player. You could try a button…

http://everwebcodebox.com/widgetbox/media/autoplay-media.html

… or a playlist if you need several tracks on a page…

There's some other styles demoed here…
