Every time when I publish to the server, EverWeb is uploading every file, even if I only move a rectangle or so. This way is not economical and it also takes much time. Isn't it possible that EW recognize unchanged files, and publish only new changes since the last publishing? In other words: Why it uploads and overwrites every single page by publishing, if I only had adjustments on only one site? You can imagine, by over 50 pages with much files it can take very long time.... Please give a tip, thanks. |

Version 1.6 which will be released shortly, will have enhanced publishing which makes publishing much faster and more efficient.

[quote name=Emin A. time=28/09/2014 16:19:02]Every time when I publish to the server, EverWeb is uploading every file, even if I only move a rectangle or so. . Emin - Make sure you're using the latest version of EverWeb. Before it was taking me 60-90 minutes to update a site even if I made a minor change on one page. Now it's much faster. Maybe 5 minutes or so. It's getting better :-) ------------------------------- MrCourtney - Honolulu, HI -------------------------------------- Mac Studio - dial monitors; iMac 27 5K - Dual Monitors - 10 TB hub Alienware: Area 51 - 24 gb - Dual Monitors - All SSD 25 TB network storage |
