after a few edits Page Edits no longer take effect

I am sort of a perfectionist and I check out my site pages and correct little mistakes or add content that will explain better.
Some times I can Make changes save them in Everweb. Then usually when I use upload Changes normally the changes take effect.

However frequently about every three to four edits they don't take, despite being saved in Everweb.

I found a work around.
Create a New Blank Page.
Format it identically.
Copy Content Elements and paste them in new Page.
When original page is empty, copy the title of the old page
Then highlight old page and hit delete
Then double click on the title of the home Page and paste the title you copied.
Now save
click upload site changes.

Then, and only then, will the changes actually take affect.

This is a repeatable issue. I have had to do the above on at least three different pages, never the same.

None of this should be necessary.
One of the most common errors when correcting typos etc in a text box is to forget to deselect the text box after doing so. If this isn't done, EverWeb has no way of knowing that a change has been made.

Yes I am aware of clicking out side of the text box and doing so before I save changes. That's not the issue. Shows up in Chrome, FireFox, SeaMonkey, Maxthon. iCab, OmniWeb, Safari. I don't know whether it’s the software or the website. But I can do the work around. It pops up after a few edit sessions. I don't constantly do edits. I will go to site periodically and happen to see a missing word, misspelling. Or I need to add a paragraph.

The issue is not a deal breaker. Its more of an annoyance.

I'm probably the opposite of a perfectionist when it comes to typing web page content. Irascible perfectionists email me to point out my failings.

When I do get around to correcting any of my blunders I don't seem to have any problems when publishing them. Before viewing a freshly published page I either empty my browser cache or hit the refresh button a few times. Perhaps you aren't doing this?
