Can anyone share viable strategies for allowing multiple users access a site file without copying the main file and emailing it back and forth? Ideal solution would be to network the file. Thanks. LC |

-- Jim, Thanks for your response. This is an excellent video on how to copy an EverWeb file. I am looking specifically for various 'workflows' that people use to collaborate on a site. LC |

The video shows how multiple people can work on one website using dropbox and sharing the project file.

You are welcome. The only other way I know of is to put EW on multiple computers and log into the account holding the project. Paul, not a big deal but kind of confusing at a glance; the link I posted refers to 'easyweb', not everweb When I was trying EW I watched a lot of the videos & was constantly searching for 'easyweb' not ever web. Now I know why. |

-- Paul So, as I understand, there is no other way than copying the original file and moving it back and forth between people. If that is the case, it would be wonderful to have the option of choosing an other than default location for the EverWeb file (such as a network drive) that would allow for multiple users (not at the same time) to use a central file without the inconvenience and moving the file back and forth between users. Thanks. |
