Why do all the EverWeb pages I create load the background slowly and in blocks...

Here are some screenshots of the way the pages load. The image is a jpg 600px X 600px in size being tiled across the page and the background is the same for every page on the site and every page loads the same way, unless it's already been visited. Is there a way to make it load quicker?

Instead of a png image, use a jpg file. Is smaller :

Here's the jpg :

And if you want help, provide information, such as an URL. Saves time.

My tiled website backgrounds are all .jpg. Only the screenshots here are .png. Another site is http://2acupuncture.com/.

Also, what happened to the EverWeb Codebox site? It keeps coming up as not available and I see Roddy still posts here. Has the URL changed but not been updated in Google? (http://everwebcodebox.com/)

Your backgrounds are .png files :

http://www.josesilvaconstruction.com/images/home/browser/seamless-wall-textures-pack-screenshots-4-2.png

http://2acupuncture.com/images/home/browser/houston-acupuncture-red-tile.png

http://everwebcodebox.com/

You make clickable links with the URL button above the textfield.

Jumbo,

That Everwebcodebox.com address comes up in every web browser I have as 'not available'. That's why I was asking what happened to it and also, my backgrounds are supposed to be .jpg not .png. That's crazy, I'm going to have to look into that...

For the EWCodebox issue, try going into the 'How do I' forum and finding a post by Roddy where he posts a link and see if your browser follows it.
