PROBLEM #1: When selecting PAGE BACKGROUND then COLOR FILL, the color palate does not appear, so the only web background color is white. When opening the palette via the dock, there's no selection to change the background color. PROBLEM #2: Using the contact widget, if any line is made longer, it forms two lines as seen in the screen shot. I'd like the header to stay as one line. Simply adding the word "address" to the end of "*Your e-mail" made the lines double. Are these flaws/defects, or my incompetence? Thank you. Last edit 11 years ago |

In the stylesheet for the Contact Form the label has been assigned a width of 100px. If you enter too much text to fit into this space a return is forced. In the example you have given, it isn't really necessary to specify Your name and Your Email Address anyway but if you feel there is a need to do this you should post in the Feature Requests section. In my opinion there is a case for making this modification since even these basic titles may be long enough in other languages to force an undesirable return. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! What's the reason to have any limitation on the header or title? Modification is needed. |

| This is good to know. I was going to change names of the lines and had no idea it was limited in size. | |

Quote: limitation on the header or title In web design we call this a "label". In this example I changed the width to 90% which seems to allow a reasonable amount of extraneous info.
