Paul - I'm not sure if this is a bug or I simply have too many pictures on the site. Currently there's maybe 400 - 500 (200x100) spread out over maybe 40 pages. I'm trying to expand a lengthy blog entry that has stuff added each day with a couple of pictures. They've been sized down but when I pull them from the desktop to the page - no dice. I got three in okay, but with significant delay before they showed. The fourth simply will not show. I dr0p, I wait, nothing. It shows in the asset list but I can't do a thing with it. Picture dr0pping has been getting slower and slower over the past few days. Have I overloaded EverWeb? Thanks. Make sure to references this discussion. Paul - I was able to dr0p the photo by saving the web file, closing the app then reopening. But there is a significant delay on dr0pping any photo at this point. Usually 2-3 seconds for it to show after they are dr0pped. My suspicion is there's just too many pictures on the site. Unfortunately, this site covers lots of events of the client and there will probably be hundreds more pictures added each year. They are all JPGs and resized to 250x225 as a standard. The asset list is so long I won't look at it anymore :-) ------------------------------- MrCourtney - Honolulu, HI -------------------------------------- Mac Studio - dial monitors; iMac 27 5K - Dual Monitors - 10 TB hub Alienware: Area 51 - 24 gb - Dual Monitors - All SSD 25 TB network storage |

The number of images you have on your site won't affect the speed of dr0pping new images on your site. This would be related to the file size of the image only. Check the file size of the image or send on of the images to me for testing. EverWeb automatically selects the image in the assets list when it is selected in EverWeb so you will be able to find it just by scrolling the assets list. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
