on a photo page- picture selected so the blue box surrounds-inspector tab- gear icon at far right- under the assets list thanks --pat |

Sorry I cannot help you, but thank you for pointing me to a beginning point. Noe to figure out where the blue line comes from as I do not have that around images.

| The blue box seems to appear for me only when I use a photo page and drag an image from my hard drive directly onto the page. I tried using the image gallery widget but it is hard for me to resize the image and put multiples on a page. I, too, am extremely new to this. | |

The alt tag feature you are looking for is only available when using the Image Gallery Widget. We are working on adding it for any widget.
