first file on the two sub sites show up as 404 not found !!

Because my site has so many pages it is divided into 3 sites one main and two subs well the first file on the two sub sites show up as 404 not found, why. I know if i just put a blank unlinked page first then the files show up. Why? if i do that will an unlinked page hurt my SEO, or is there a better way?

| shucks! forgot to say that it is only happening on Mobile site. After continue on first page you arrive at page with a list of clubs, Blue nile is the first file on clubs 1 sub site and howlin Wolf is the first file on clubs 2 sub site . yes the pages have links to club music listings by week. | |

Remember, the first file in a directory is always index.html. http://spyboy4u.com/clubs1/ http://spyboy4u.com/clubs2/ So you should not link to the actual named file. Keep that in mind when you rearrange pages in a directory. Last edit 11 years ago |

A blank file? Use SEO keywords? Unlink? Why not think rational and link to one of my pages and choose clubs1 and clubs2. |
