Handling Rollover Images on mobile devices

I have a cabinetshop. I want to build a marketing strategy based on BEFORE & AFTER pictures. When my customers show off their kitchen a big part of the war story is "You should have seen it before!" I want to keep the customers updated on progress pics as the job goes along. If they have a great venue to show their friends how the project is going they will also have a chance to talk about my company. I initially thought to do this with rollover images. I wanted to have full page bleeds that could toggle between before & after. I am discovering, however, that rollover type images are not viable on mobile devices. Almost every one of my customers trots in with an iPad in hand so I presume they are also doing a lot of their online research with iPads. I want the user to have a consistent experience no matter what device they are using to view my website. What would be the best strategy for handling transition effects like this? How should I go about linking one picture to another and make this comprehensible to all customers? |
