Fonts look thicker on a Mac

User: Jeff K. 11 years ago
My two EverWeb fonts, Economica and Arial, look thicker on my Mac at home. When I call up my website (www.jeffkingphotography.net) at work on a PC the fonts look thinner, like they do on the Mac before I hit publish.

I actually like the thicker look. Is there a way to make them look the same on Macs and PCs? Mac screenshots:

Seems fonts and the way they look on different browsers version's of browsers and the OS that that browser os running on can affect the look!
Kinda stinks and is often a WTH moment when you see it on someones computer/device... One way to nearly resolve it 100% is to turn the text into a graphic, which is fine if it's a logo or name, but with a paragraph of text it's not a good way to go... Sometimes you have to use the limited web-safe fonts and let it go, and even then (apparently) there's no guarantee!

Thanks Steve! So, how do you turn a font into a graphic?

Really easy... Select the text and check the box to make it a graphic.. Remember that this makes your text a "graphic" so it won't read the same to a SEO bot. But other text on you page should be enough...
