It would be really useful in the site I'm designing to have the content of the pages scroll and the background image remain static. It's a feature I've used in one or two themes in WP and suits the style of what I do. I don't want a separate scroll bar on the page, just the main scroll bar with a static background. I've tried 4 different design applications for the site I'm designing at the moment, and EverWeb is the only one that allows me to do what I need (apart from easy blogging and the above feature). Some years ago I used iWeb extensively with good results but this is in another league altogether. I'm actually enjoying designing a new website. Many thanks for the intelligent work on the program, which seems to do what most non-programmers want in a simple elegant way. I look forward to similar ease with the blogging feature. A static background can be achieved using some code entry or jQueryBackStretch There's also a Background Image widget for inserting a responsive full size background image. You can also have a background slider or movie.
