Is there any update on the blog feature being worked on? I've been holding off transferring a bunch of blog achieves from iWeb to EverWeb in case it was coming...soon. Paul Any update on the proposed new blogging feature? Is this planned to be a separate update or included with other new features? I must confess I held off the Blogging workaround some months ago because you reported you were working on a new super blogging feature. If I had known then it was going to take this amount of time or even longer I would have used the workaround. I realise you want to manage users expectations and don't want to raise people's hopes. However it would really help to know your target date for a beta release? If that target date is still some months away then I might decide to use the workaround. Mike Last edit 11 years ago |

Thanks for making an inquiry into this too Mike. I too have been holding off on some sites for this and would very much like to know the status.

Sorry for the delay here everyone. We are working hard on the blogging feature. We want to make sure that when we release it, we are releasing a high quality blogging feature. This has taken us a bit of extra time, but things are going well so far and we are hoping to release a beta shortly. As for an exact date, I cannot say at the moment, but we are much closer. If you do want to add some content to your website, I would say to go ahead and do so, and when the time comes, you can copy and paste it over to the blog, which I don't think will be too much extra work for you, so long as you are not making thousands of entires. |

I really hope the progress is still going strong! The only reason why I haven't switched to EverWeb from iWeb is because of this feature. Hopefully it's a good one! | I have a question about this, hopefully this still gets read even though it is labeled 'answered'. I read in a thread where users are directed to a third-party for having a reply area when setting up a blog in EW currently (could not find it with a search). I was wondering if the coming blog feature will have its own comment widget or if we will still use an outside one? | |
