User: Roddy 11 years ago
The previous version allowed widgets compatible with V1.4 to be installed and used. This one allows the widgets to be installed but not used…

Redownload from the post I just made in the Announcements forum as it make a slight change. If you still have issues, email me one of your widgets to try.

It's this latest version that is causing the issue. The previous one was fine.

I just put a new version in the forums an hour or so ago. The about box will say 1.4 (without the fc1). It's build 1252.

Build 1252 is the one that is causing the problem.

All the EW default widgets are for V 1.3 or lower.
Change any one to V1.4 and you will see what I mean.

If you change your application version tag in your widget to just 1.4 it will work.

Will that apply to the Final release as well or will it accept 1.4.0 ?

Nice facelift to the forum. It's very EverWeb!

I do have this fixed for another release. I can post that one instead of this one. Will do so shortly.

If you re-download from here (build 1253), it should work.

Please let me know if you have anymore issues.

Image Slider repositions itself (slightly shrinks) from application mode to preview mode.

This didn't occur with v. 1.3.

I am in the Asset manager and am previewing images. When I double click, it permanently changes the file name to a random name in the list!

Hi Les,

I can't reproduce either of these issues. A screen recording may help me understand what you are doing so I can fix it.

You can record your screen using Quicktime which is in your Applications folder. Open Quicktime and select 'New Screen Recording' from the File menu.

Once you are done, your recording will be on your desktop. Please upload the .mov file to http://youtube.com, http://ge.tt or http://www.dropbox.com and send me the link

Also, it is probably best to open a new thread for each issue so responses can be better organized and the thread can be more easily followed.

As a follow up, the file names themselves don't change, but their name in the asset list.
